Fraud 07793889491 Scam pre-recorded voice call pretending to be from Mobile Service Provider (does not mention which one) regarding service termination due to unpaid bills. Obviously a complete SCAM again, probably of Indian origin, as they are using robotic voice pre-recording. Definitely should be BLOCKED and REPORTED.

Text received from this number to say that a new payee request to a Mr C Jones through my HSBC mobile banking app. If this was not me to visit a website. Total scam as I do not have an HSBC account and do not use their banking app.

Caller who sounded Indian said she was from the telephone preference service and calling to say it had expired as - she was just getting to this - the bank card used had expired. She first asked how the telephone bill was paid. As the service is free I rang off.
They left no message and, when I called them back it's just "The number you are calling has not been recognised" .. so there we have it, pilgrims .. a virtual guarantee that this is surely, just one of) the SCAMMERS LATEST 'phone numbers - Beware!!

Phone today 27/07 purporting to being doing a survey. Assumed I was a tenant and that I needed repairs doing on my property. When I asked if they were giving me money to make repairs on my property she became flustered and said sorry they were only speaking to tenants and ended call. After being scammed before are very wary of cold calls and scams. However, this one was picked up without really looking or thinking but I must say this seems a dangerous one because this did sound almost genuine with (as above, claiming to be HMRC). In our case, the line just went dead after it told us to press one to speak to an officer. This is one that could catch unexpecting people out so be careful! We keep it as rule that if in any doubt, ONLY answer numbers that are 0800 or gov numbers (030) unless
