SCAM Some sort of financial scam. They have a great opportunity to do with the German markets apparently. Pretty similar to the crypto currency calls that are also happening.
I was called by this number and an automated voice told me that I was being prosecuted for tax evasion by the police and asked me to press 1. Then a man with an Indian accent spoke to me asking for my postcode and address. I foolishly gave it to him after which he hung up -this must be some sort of scam or attempted fraud

.Harassing Cold call . Trying to sell roof insulation. Do I buy from harassing cold callers??? Nope! Knew our name and address. Asked him where he got details - said from database but could not say what. Told him should at the minimum his company should be vetting against telephone preference service. Asked him to remove our details from his database to comply with current GDPR rules. Kept him talking for a good 10 minutes to stop him harassing others during that time

Got to confirm you ve got a mobile for the call (£5 a month a discount.) You kept her on the line? you realize you re allowed to hang up. she s not. Scam? Had him going round in circles for 20 minutes before telling him my pc wasnt switched on. Missed call - Would say is unsolicited call. Did not recognise the number. When looked up it’s not connected to any company, personally I’m not waiting for a phone a call from Manchester as I’m from a different area in the UK.
