Alleged call from HMRC with automated male voice telling me to press 1 to avoid being arrested for fraud. Absolutely sure it is some new scam attempt to get money from scared people - it sounded quite threatening!
Cold call. Told me I had been involved in an accident. Since I had not I challenged the caller that they were making a nuisance call. They hung up instantly.
Claimed to be Justin from the Census company.

This guy called me and he said he was a member of the association AML "anti money laundering" in UK and international also. He pretended he could recover money from crypto websites. Recorded message Claiming to be from National Fraud Agency and that they were going to cancel my National Insurance number and asked me to press 1 on my telephone to speak to someone in person.
Mike Paige seems to have quite a reputation for being rude. He was very rude to me when I said the MD was not available, he said I heard you speak to MD. I said he was not available again and he put the phone down.

They have been ringing me for weeks and managed to ignore the number when it came up. They rang 7times on my landline yesterday. 3 times in the space of half an hour. My husband then answered it last night and woman said something about a survey and him getting voucher for petrol. i shouted him to hang up the phone...which he did. They haven t called back. I am now investing in a phone with call guard because I am absolutely SICK of being harassed by this number and similar annoying sales calls.
Weird. When I answered, a recorded message said that the caller is unable to take your call. I don t know if it is genuine or a scam but I have never had this happen before.
