Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). She claimed that there has been suspicious activity from unknown IP addresses using my account and that it was being used for criminal activity and that she needed to help me protect my firewalls etc. I immediately became suspicious as I'd heard of such calls being made and told her that I'd call Virgin directly to resolve any issues. SCAM Over the last week I have had calls from this company who purports to be from Amazon stating that a certain amount of money will be taken and press 1 to cancel and 2 to speak to an operator - do not do either HANG UP - Checked with both Amazon and bank they would not leave message like this. Also for reference they also use 0204 520 3908/0204 5203909 and 0208 194 2753. The scripts are slightly different stating that £00 will be taken for Amazon and £1100 bank transfer. Do Not engage with them

Certainly not located in Manchester and it is a private number not linked to anyone but the holder of this phone number. Not used for scam calling or other criminal activities, I know this as it's my personnel phone number.
