Number unknown, which I usually ignore but as I m waiting for an overnight package I wondered if it was them calling re delivery, so I answered. It was a female caller with (what sounded like) a Chinese accent. She said she was calling on behalf of Telephone Preference Service. I didn t believe it and hung up - but they have rung another twice since then (4 hours ago.)

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. I am surprised nobody else has clicked on to this yet......Doesn t sound too dodgy to me. Obviously Adrian has opted for no marketing calls from Carphone Warehouse themselves. I ve had this . I just said : " Cut me off then" and she hung up.

Pensions centre - hung up the second I asked how she d got my number.

Have had several calls from this number - 01618500044 - they say they are a company called RECLAIM FINANCE. I have never taken out finance so cannot be owed any compensation?! When I,ve got a free minute I bombard these parasites with dead calls by withholding my own number see how these oiks like it! Everyone should do the same when they can spare a minut, see how they like it.

Woman called claiming to be from Amazon Prime stating £39 would be taken monthly from my bank account as subscription, must be a scam.

Number rang but hung up about two seconds after I answered. Another one for the blocked list on my phone.

It is clear to me that the two LAHOREES Humaz Fiaz and Dildaar are part of the scam.. SURPRISE SURPRISE.

Very annoying get these calls about three times aday.
