would not leave his name. claimed to be able to repay my debt ( i am debt free!) when challenged claimed he had got my file from the FSA, when I asked to be put through to his GDPR officer got rather belligerent and threatened to send legal papers to my address - which he repeated to me including my post code when I them said again that I did not have any debt to repay he went off on a tangent and eventually hung up. A very friendly guy called me saying he was from Greenpeace after I had signed a Greenpeace petition. He sounded very informative and believable and after a friendly chat he asked me to donate a small amount to Greenpaece. I said I would, and then he started asking me for my bank details so that he could set up a monthly direct debit for me to donate £10 per month. I said I woulld not give details over the phone but he still insisted that I could. I stopped at that point & put down the phone.

Regularly calling back with apparant "offers" wanting you to donate to charities or sign up to some kind of scheme. Whether it s legit or not i don t know but they can call up to 5 times a day.
