I was phoned today saying from a young chap claiming I was going to receive a letter tomorrow informing me of a PPI refund, and somehow my bank suddenly owes me money back. I asked this chap which bank may owe me this money, he said it could be from one of several banks which I have accounts with, which he just named several banks off a list. probably a mask for a real number from abroad. Caller had Indian Accent and it was the well known "Windows Technician Scam" (try Google if you do not know about this scam)

This person messages asking to be your slave but doesn t reply. I googled this number and found a girl on twitter who posted about this number and a commenter on her post who also googled the number and found her, the same happened to them also.

Called for 17 seconds but said nothing ? this number obtained via 1471. We are on the Telephone Preference Service. The caller is warned not to call again.

Someone called me on this number this morning twice while I was in a meeting. I called back and someone called Mark answered. I did not give my details but asked why he had called me and he put the telephone down. I rang back but it just rings and rings. They/he has tried to call me a further five times today already(seven times in all) and it is only 3.50 pm. HELP.
