Asked if I was council housing association, when I told them they should know this, they started asking if I had reported damp, mould, cracked windows or any other jobs. I told them they should have that on the computer and to tell me which they are calling for... I got ok madam good day and they hung up. Sounded like they were calling from India not London as showing on screen.

Just had a call from this number with an automated message saying my national insurance number was going to be terminated due to unethical financial transactions, asking me to press 1 for more information. Hung up straight away
SCAM: Another one of these recorded messages claiming to report problems with National Insurance number. Getting harassed by several different numbers / from different locations, all with same recorded message. In some cases have had up to 7 scam calls on same day.
NEVER call an unknown number back. If you do so, you may unknowingly be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a very large charge on your bill.

I have now tracked them down and the number belongs to a supposedly reputable charity fundraising organisation. I say supposedly reputable since no genuinely reputable company would make such a nuisance of themselves, especially on TPS registered numbers. As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.
