Fraud SCAM Cold call. Indian voice asks you to give long card number as some payment at some time "did not go through". I remember no such occasion with an Indian agent, and if this does happen with any other, they immediately check and enter the card number again and it does go through. I said I can't just give my card number to an unknown caller for an unknown transaction, and the agent said he would get their lawyers to deal with me. I have blocked the number.

Ring their phone: you ll find the voice message is by teenager who can barely read the script. The script is by someone who can t write - "If you have had A accident...". So if that s the effort and expense they re prepared to invest into making their first impression, imagine how diligent their customer service must be. Enough said.

Spam caller claiming to be from Vodafone (my mobile contract isn't with Vodafone), wanting my bank details so they could apply a discount to my contract. Very persistent - when I told them I didn't know my postcode they called back the following night. Even provided me with a (mobile!) number I could call to check that they really were Vodafone.

This is an HMRC Fraud scam. A recorded voice telle you that there is a fraud case against you and a warrent for your arrest will be issued if you fain to 'press one'. DANGEROUS Hang up and block the number immediately.

I too was offered "work from home" employment by ING FUNDING (via e-mail). An application form and a contract of employment was attached to the e-mail which I am to fax to 02076811627, but there was no mention of bank details. Is this safe? I will cantact ING directly to find out if anyone can verify this e-mail I was sent. I ll post my findings as soon as I know whats going on.

I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call. Second time someone spoke with me and verified my name by telling the name correctly and asking that have I met with a road accident and claiming. I have replied my name is correct but I didn t met any accident and applying claims. Reported on other sites, trying to sell and get you to pay for an expired service, which you probably didn t have. Asked for individual by name, and rudely hung up when asked for theirs. Avoid talking to them

I think this is a scam call. Got a phone call offering me loads of different discounts; hotels, supermarkets - you name it. No cost apparently apart from mailing this discount card out to me which is ?1.65. Sounds good, only they said they were from Simply Be - why could this not be added to my account as they wanted to take the ?1.65 from either a debit or credit card.

01354 006445. Landline in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. Consider it DANGEROUS, if you answer, they know that your number is active, sell your number on, and you will be bombarded, they will log your times on answering and build a profile of you, and eventually you are bait. Police aren't interested as no crime has been committed...yet! but it's too late then isn't it? Log it here and make others aware that the scamming F***s have invaded Chatteris now.
