AMAZON scam call, recorded message claiming I had brought goods from amazon.
Claimed to be Amazon with an enquiry about an undelivered package - I don't have any outstanding orders with Amazon.
When I answered the call the guy said Hi this is UK Advice Centre, how are you? I asked what the call was regarding and the line was disconnected. Obviously looking for a less inquisitive person!

I got called by this number at 18:07. The line was silent and when I hung up it called again. A quick search suggested it was Barclays Bank. An odd time of day for a bank to call! I contacted Barclays via their app for a live text chat. The operator assured me it was a Barclays number and not a scam. SCAM / SPAM Received a text from this number, +44 7377 428622, saying that I was due a refund from HMRC and providing a link to click on to start the claim process. Fairly clearly a malicious link so I deleted the text - suggest any other recipients do likewise.
