Apparently, according to recorded voice, the National Crime Agency are going to suspend my National Insurance number and arrest me. This is unlikely. This is the only one of 4 unknown calls from Vodafone numbers I have answered in the last couple of days but suspect all of the same ilk.

This call came about half an hour after the last, and was easily recognisable because of the usual crackling. I bellowed "Hello" loudly enough to burst the caller s eardrums, and that put an end to it. The number used by these criminals, who want me to allow them to infect my computer, was as fictitious as the previous one had been.
Information The caller offered a free inspection of the nature of loft insulation claiming that some types of insulation were hazardous. I declined the offer.

SPAM Indian lady saying she call from Amazon Prime and telling me that someone placed and order for a subscription with a value of £79.99 and she can cancel the order if I give her the features of the device I use to access my Amazon account. As soon I asked her for a proof of this call, she hang up.

I was cold called and told that as I was under 65 and drawing a deferred company pension I was entitled to a £1,000 pound payment. I asked who this was calling and all they would say was The helpline . I told them that I was registered with Telephone Preferences and that I should not receive such calls. Keep calling me despite me having blocked their number, they ve called me 5 times already tonight. I don t understand how they are still able to call me despite having blocked them after the first call. Fed up.
Second call received from John at computer maintenance. First time when I told him that there wasn t a computer at this number he hung up, hoped this would deter further calls. But following day different time he phoned again told him that still didn t have computer and wanted to be taken off their database at which point he hung up. Waiting to see if they ring again.
