People did someone answer this number? I had few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. I was trying to dig some info on the internet, don't want to call them back until I know who might be calling but no luck. Some idea who is it?

Purporting to be from HMRC, it was a recorded message. Telling me to press 1 and if I didn't respond I would be arrested. First call left a voicemail, second call I answered but as soon as I realised it was the same message I disconnected.
This number should be a landline from Hitchen and is registered for BT (but this is just a carrier). I haven't found any rating for this number somewhere else, which should be a good sign... Has someone some experience with this one?

My call intercepter did not put this call through. There has to be a person on the end of the line not just an autodialling system as they have to give a name before it is transferred to me to accept or decline. Sorry I am unable to shed any light as to who this firm is, but I guess it is cold call selling (despite being registered with TPS) or could be a scam, either way I do not want to have anything to do with them.

You can Authorise or Cancel this request via: https://hsbc.payments-referrals.com/payees/ The irony of this message is don't even own a HSBC account, never have and it is unlikely that i will!!
