The guy introduced himself Peter Jones calling from Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd. trying to sell personal loan. it was suspicious. checked with FCA, I've been told that they are impersonating businesses and personal names. Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd is a legitimate company and they are only mortgage broker not selling or offering personal loans. beware this landline number is a scam. personal loan only offered by banks directly.
Told me they were calling regarding repairs reported to the housing officer - I don't live in that area or rent!
Briefly answered and it was clearly a call center, hung up and blocked the number

Claimed to be from an insurance company wanting to renew an annual policy with a discount . I didn't recognise the details of this policy and I became suspicious when they asked for my bank details . I was advise to reach out to [email protected] for funds recovery but i never did at first cause i taught he was also a scam, after i tried to search for personal hackers who turns out to be scam then i decided to give a try and contact wizard Harry, he responded to me without asking for money initially, he looked into my case and then inform me how it can be done, so i gave him a go-ahead and he got my funds back. Scam number impersonating virgin money. I received a text which appeared to be from virgin money “this is your one time passcode to debit your account (amount) to pay (company). If this was NOT you call us on 03309124638” I called Virgin money directly using their actual number from the back of my bank card to report it, it’s definitely a scam.

This number relates to an investment scam called GFA capital. They get you to deposit a small amount of money ($275) and they claim they invest it in crypto and produce huge results. In 5 days my $275 grew to $75000. WOW Then one of their senior investment managers calls you and shows you a bitcoin opportunity, invest $18000 and they will produce a $10000 return in 5 days. BULLSHIT. I requested a withdrawal from my pot and was told that I had to pay £12000 tax to release the funds. Dangerous scam
HMRC fake. Also aggressive answer phone asking me to talk to an agent (press1) or before legal action taken. I don't care if they are the real HMRC, send me a letter or deliver notice by plod.
