Called saying there were problems with the coding on our website and would we like a free report? I asked if it was to do with SEO and she sheepishly replied that it was. I politely declined.

I get about 3 calls a week from these debts collectors called Capquest. They are silent and harassing calls to do with student loan repayments. Ignore all calls and tell tem to put everything in writing, then you can use the paper as fire starters......job done.

Forever calling my 11yo sons mobile, this being a new mobile contract. Clearly cold calling and continue to harrass us, idiots! From now on I answer, appearing to be my local Police Authority. I ve done this with others and they promptly hangup and I never receive a call from them again. As for the TPS, complete waste of time. I and many others had an increase of calls once added, even on a completely new line where nobody had the number as it was used as a broadband only line by us.

Scatter-gun accident not your fault type thing. Robo dialer seems to have been improved from the usual one that calls me. I usually let the computer pass me to an operator and waste some of their time before hanging up.

Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.

Found a missed call

I get this call sometimes 5 times a week, morning 9.30 and 1.00. Do not respond to anyone who calls you, that you do not know... There are plenty of scammers about.

silent caller nothing there at all

Pause of few seconds. High pitched noise, then computerised voice said "goodbye". Caller then hung up.

The rating on this should have been 9, but appeared as one.

Don t fall for this. It s a scam originating mainly in USA. They work from old shareholder registers (sometimes so old the holder has long since sold the shares anyway...

Won?t say what company they are from but asks for your details. When told to remover me from their list became very aggressive

They re a bunch of scum nuggets, keeps calling me, Blocked and they still come back with a slightly different number. I hope they die a painful cancerous death from which the disease gets passed on to their children for generations and they each get to watch their children die painfully. Has called 15 times in the past few days offering me a free tablet, when I said no they still keep calling. spoke to someone in Vodafone and they weren t sure if it was legitimate or not.

This number appears to be from 2Touch, a direct marketing company. In my case they were calling on behalf of EDF Energy in response to a complaint, so it was a legitimate call.
