Sounded like an automated call, woman's voice. Said "hello, how are you" then I put the phone down.
Just received this call which said that I had installed something on my home phone number which was sounds or something. I put the phone down and did no more but this is not something I have requested and I think could be dangerous. I am hiping that I have not been charged anything but will need to check my bill when it arrives.

Fraud. Automated Female recording about a visa txn - asking to enter a number to respond to questions. Believe it to be a scam as they did not identify me or give appropriate details about my account before they went into their 'rant'. This is not the first time they have called (2 other have been received around same time each day (9:15am to 9:30am) so some automated call scheduler is involved.

A call well away from the area I live, claiming to be dealing with energy supplies in my area, and problems with Government grants for loft insulation, but a problem has been found causing damp and mould in the loft insulation. An offer is made to check and replace the loft insulation, to then be charged for work that is simply not required.
Number unknown, which I usually ignore but as I m waiting for an overnight package I wondered if it was them calling re delivery, so I answered. It was a female caller with (what sounded like) a Chinese accent. She said she was calling on behalf of Telephone Preference Service. I didn t believe it and hung up - but they have rung another twice since then (4 hours ago.)

Big fraud company. needs to be reported. I was promised to get reduction in rates aand kept calling me to pay for work carried out to reduce my rates. Molly from Rapid Advice Service called regarding an accident I was apparently in (at least that explains the headache i ve assumed was due to these sort of idiot calls...). Asked where she received the information from but was transferred to Soloman. He in turn hung up when I said i d like copies of the information that he stated was supplied.
