Claimed to be BT again claiming my computer was being hacked and telling me to log on, was an Indian call centre?

Got a call from these guys...No-one knows this number...only use it as a data tether...just randomly calling mobile numbers...

This number called me whilst in school, almost answered but they hung up.

A very friendly guy called me saying he was from Greenpeace after I had signed a Greenpeace petition. He sounded very informative and believable and after a friendly chat he asked me to donate a small amount to Greenpaece. I said I would, and then he started asking me for my bank details so that he could set up a monthly direct debit for me to donate £10 per month. I said I woulld not give details over the phone but he still insisted that I could. I stopped at that point & put down the phone.

Life insurance claim company. When you call back you get a recorded message asking if you have ever overpaid on an insurance policy …… another one for the block list!!

Pre-recorded message saying that my IP address has been compromised and I should press 1 to be connected to a technician. Has phoned me twice in the last two days.

Indian accent man, all he did was asking me yes/no questions... like, are you ____? is ____ your postcode? have you got a mortgage? are you happy with your bank? After I replied to his questions he said ok have a lovely day an hung up... which I found weird. Unfortunately, it was until he hung up that I realised he might have been recording my yes/no answers to use this for any sort of identity fraud or scam... Im very scared now and don t know what to do

I ve had previous call about windows scrappage scheme from this same number but today I ve had 4 calls before lunchtime, with the usual how many windows and doors have you got, we will give you money off spiel, when I said I m not looking to get it done I get the "maybe in a few years" they don t take no for an answer, he s already called back to say he will call when my husband is in, then he s called back and apologised for calling, then again but hung up, surely something can be done to block this number

they claimed to be doing local authority survey on local businesses hung up on them as it was not local number apperingon my phone
