It was to do with my banking contract to help improve my banking package deal ie IF you pay for a premium banking service IE Lloyds Gold where in paying a monthly fee for your account they offer you various insurance packages the twit who phoned me was trying to tell me he was going to improve on my current offer!! This company keep phoning me asking for a Duncan Cruickshanks who I believe used to own my telephone number. Tonight they tried ending the call with silence but usually they are abusive, or just ask for the person who pays the household bills. My number is ex-directory & registered with TPS, makes no difference to these people though.

Have had two calls on my mobile from these people, both asking for me by a different name. Then it turned out they claimed I had asked for a quote for car insurance (I don t own a car). So I searched under the number and found these comments. Can ignore them in future.

Holly Baldwin, Silvershine Services called my mobile today, asking about the accident I had just had. Asked where she got my number she said Road Traffic Accident Department which obviously is twaddle, or there own internal RTA department. When pressed repeatedly about the department she put the phone down. Shame, I was just getting warmed up.

I just had this number call me a few minutes ago, but I didn't answer it because they rang off. I suspect it may be a cold caller or the suchlike. xx

Emily, claiming to be IT Support, I think Microsoft was mentioned. Offering to help fix problems with my computer. I played along for a while, got bored & hung up. Rung me back, so I told her I m IT technician, and there s nothing wrong with my PC. She warned me I was wrong, and hung up.

Don t know why they called, someone else has said its when your bill is overdue. But mine is not overdue.
