I think they tried calling last week, then again today to my unlisted mobile phone number (11th Nov). I answered, saying my name; there was a pause then an unintelligible garble for a few seconds and then they put the phone down! Like the above commentors my mother received a call from Robert Watson from Windows Tech support saying the # is 02036428038. This is a scam they want you to go on your computer and go to a URL which basically a remote control website. They will then have access to your harddrive and all your data. My advice is to tell them to go to hell and hang up.
