Had a bunch of missed calls from this number. When I finally managed to answer, the person on the other line just said "Goodbye" and the call got disconnected. Come to think of it, it sounded more like a robo-voice than an actual human being. Probably was some computer-generated call. I just wonder what they were trying to accomplish with it?!

Asked to speak to me, told me they where not selling but their database has shown o have had a accident in the last 2 years

This is a call from a very thick Chinese guy who speaks poor English. He keeps on insisting that you answer some lifestyle questions. When you refuse he will hang up and call back the next day. Silvershine Services. 4 calls in 48 hrs all from Leicester based numbers. Call starts off with an automated voice asking about accident details. After answering yes and giving brief details, I am put through to a human being. Despite telling them on NUMEROUS occasions now that I DO NOT wish to receive these call, they still persist. Asking them to remove your number just results in the person you re speaking to ending the call. Reported to ICO

Knew surname of account holder and a partially correct address for the property (i.e. they d got the address from an address database, and not from us). Started a spiel about nuisance calls and how they want to get everyone onto the new government service - at which point I hung up on the shyster.
