Fraud Call claimed to checking on possible fraudulent payments from a bank card (one to Amazon, and one international), and inviting me to press 1 to continue. But as it was left on answering machine this could not be done. No card provider specified and they didn't address me by name. On checking, no such payments have been made from any of my cards.

My mother paid them nearly £600 for about an hourwork with a chainsaw cutting down healthy trees. They demanded payment in cash & took her to the bank to collect that. I reoprted the offenders to Greater Manchester police who refused to take action.
