Scam call claiming to be 'bank security' asking for confirmation of recent payments to Amazon (£300) and a four figure sum sent overseas. Recorded message, no identification asked for or given. Press 1 to cancel, 2 for further details. Replaced the receiver.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1618144xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI claims, financial services, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

SCAM They claim to be selling you investments etc but dont want to verify where in the world they are registered etc, very pushy & want you to invest in them without verifying who they are

foreign call centre calling to arrange a medical and asking to confirm my details. said they got me details from the UK claims regulator and that once I attended a medical at my local hospital they would pass on the compensation. I wasted about 5 minutes

Rang me SEVEN times between 13:48 and 16:44, never left a message. Blocked now

call was from Elite UK, had all my details through a holiday competition, they had all my actual correct details, then started to try and sell my a lottery syndicate place for £39.99 a month once i said i wasnt interested they hung the call up.

Claimed to be from BT and wanted access to my computer to repair 'problems' with my connection. Hung up when I began to ask questions.

didnt answer call. went online to see who it was. rang them back with 141 then number and gave them there own medicine.

SCAM Indian woman pretending to be BT saying that there were multiple unknown IP addresses connected to our internet. Tried to get me to go into the terminal of my computer and started inserting ridiculous stuff. As soon as I asked BT to email me officially and we take it from there, she went silent and hung up.

Someone calling regarding all inclusive holidays refunds ? Now blocked as call me 3 times today already
