Asked for me by name on a business line which is CPR listed so legally should not receive any unsolicited sales or marketing calls. They introduced themselves as "Crime Prevention Officers" looking into recent spate of burglaries in area and gave the impression they were connected to the police if not actually officers. Caller with Indian accent said she was calling from "Global Support" because they had identified that my computer was running slowly and they would fix this. She asked me to go to a website www.teamviewer.com. I said I didn t know her so would google this first, before going onto an unknown site. She hung up.
