Claimed to be Visa ringing about fraudulent transactions on my account. First warning sign - Didn't know who I was. They should know whose account the transactions were on Second warning sign - As far as I'm aware Visa don't contact people direct, your card issuer will contact you. So it would have been Lloyds, Halifax, barclaycard, etc
Be careful when this number rings you because they are crooks who try and con you via whatsapp.
Recorded call telling me that by Visa card has been used in gambling in the USA (I do not have a visa card) Sure that this is a scam.

SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:02 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. Then get a text saying sorry to bother you I got a few numbers the wrong way around. Possibly someone doing research to see if the number is active to put it on scam site.
