SCAM / SPAM - They phoned me and claimed that I haven't paid my taxes and that I owe £3,900 and with fines that was now around £20,000. Then informed me that I have 2 options Option 1 - to go to court and risk losing the case and owing £20,000 or Option 2 - pay £3,900 now. A very non-English sounding person called “Jake” called claiming to be from EE asked me what type of mobile I had - if he were truly from EE he would have had that information already. Hung up!

SCAM - Claimed to be from Sky Broadband & hung up when challenged. It's possible the phone number is being hijacked as there were obvious 'internet phone' type delays in the conversation.

Fast talking wanted my free available B&B rooms to sell, does not allow you to talk just wants her questions answered, when she asked a private information question I started to say "No I cannot tell you that" well I got to the No and she said oke tnx and slammed the phone down on me(How rude). And then they wander why next time I get a sales person on the phone I will slam it down!! This way they will destroy telesales jobs.

I was told he was not trying to sell me anything. It was the third stage in government scheme first wall insulation then loft and now grants for windows. It s a scam. Told them to sod off...but they still ring.
Silent call, I think the scam is for you to call them back at inflated call costs to call the number. No one ever answers you after you pick up but you can hear that there is some one on the other end of the line as they initially say hello. Deffo a scam!!!
