I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. Police Officer called regarding witnessing a crime. He had all details. Was happy to verify and arranged visit as follow up.

I received a call from this number, when I answered they hung up, however the call seemed to continue. I think this is some sort of scam.

Caller claimed that our internet would be cut off within 24 hours, press 1 for a technician who would provide an IP address. Smells of scam!

A fellow prisoner is probably calling a friend or family member.

I answered without saying anything and within 2 seconds line went dead.
