SCAM Another call pretending I had cover for washing machine. I was supposed to have already paid for 2 installments and they would debit me for 3rd. Had last 4 numbers of card and outdated password which I know is useless!
Calling saying they were from Currys / PC World , accent suggested Indian caller, Currys / PC World do not have permission to call me - caller hung up when challenged on this. I suspect it was a scam call (your PC is infected with a virus type scam)

If this is as others say ..Everest. that company went bust in 2019 and is now called everest 2020. They still owe or Chapel more than 4k deposit back. I have had this number blocked since last year because it kept ringing and there was nothing there . It just came up again as a blocked call today.. and yesterday. It was not ghe number I had as a contact for Everest or Everest 2020.

By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people. I'd told him that I was not interested in and that I had told the previous 43 callers the same! Does the phone blocking facility ever get full? Hope not.

This number has repeatedly phoned me, but not left a message (and phoning the number gives "you have dialled an incorrect number". Strongly suspect it is call from 'Beneficial' in which case it is either a scam call or, at best, a harassing call.
