This number texted me pretending to be Halifax, saying that a device had been paired with mine and to click a link if this wasn't the case. I called Halifax and they confirmed it was a scam. Do not click the link!

This is obviously an attempt to get you to confirm personal details (I do not have an annual Prime account to begin with).

Silvershine Services. 4 calls in 48 hrs all from Leicester based numbers. Call starts off with an automated voice asking about accident details. After answering yes and giving brief details, I am put through to a human being. Despite telling them on NUMEROUS occasions now that I DO NOT wish to receive these call, they still persist. This is a call from a very thick Chinese guy who speaks poor English. He keeps on insisting that you answer some lifestyle questions. When you refuse he will hang up and call back the next day. If you ask him to remove your number from their database he will hang up. It is from Today s Living Marketing Survey.
