cold call selling life insurance - pleasant enough exchange to start but when I told the Indian woman that I do not purchase from cold calls she became aggressive and shouting before eventually hanging up on me. About an hour later her 'Supervisor' called me to ask why I had hung up on her!!!! These people are Scum.

The telephone number in the text was 01458 553095 The text message reads FreeMsg: You have joined Just-Discounts costing £4.50 per text max 3 texts per month until you send stop to 66299 SP:Galaner 01458553095 [email protected] Anyone know anything about this? Possible scam? Can anyone help with this....?

Called 4 times today, did the whole reciting my details trick (easily obtainable by googling my office phone number) apparently offering better electricity rates. Told them I wasn t interested on all 4 occasions yet they kept calling back to ask who was providing my electric. Very insistent on getting my electricity providers name to the point it was suspicious that they wanted it so much.

Indian accent man, all he did was asking me yes/no questions... like, are you ____? is ____ your postcode? have you got a mortgage? are you happy with your bank? After I replied to his questions he said ok have a lovely day an hung up... which I found weird. Unfortunately, it was until he hung up that I realised he might have been recording my yes/no answers to use this for any sort of identity fraud or scam... this company offered my father a loan so he paid them a u-cash voucher for 145 pounds so as his loan went into his bank account... it all seemed above board then they said they wanted another 250 to process....LENDING TREAM... Recorded message saying that I could repay a debt at ?70 per week. Not sure where they got my number - as usual - but needless to say, I ended the call before I could expend precious energy shouting at them to take my number off their list.
