Claim to be calling for my unnamed bank about suspicious charges from Amazon and an international money transfer. Wanted me to key in a response to speak with an “adviser”. Seems to be a scam/phishing for bank information.

AMAZON Call said from Amazon Prime and that money will be taken out of our account - we haven't got Prime.

Fraud SCAM BEWARE! Claims to be from 02. Will sent a one time pass code from what looks like a genuine 02 labelled SMS account. Do NOT give this code out Pushed the "O2 agent" on giving code out when they finally admitted this was a fraud/scam call.

This is a Scam pretending to be Amazon using a recorded message.

Man with Asian accent said he was calling from Virgin Media about my internet connection. He said they were having some problems which are affecting my internet connection but the call then disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never once phoned me when there's been problems in the past. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet connection and I'm convinced that this was a scam call so I'm rating as dangerous.

Paid number Fraud SPAM SCAM - received a missed call and no voicemail. Dialled back as was expecting a different call, yet got charged an automatic premium rate without an answer.

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. SCAM Automated call saying £900 has been taken from my visa account.

SCAM. The caller was a woman claiming to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. She further claimed to be from the energy company – E.ON – that supplies me with electricity. She knew or guessed my first name, and asked for confirmation of details of my name and mailing address. However, she did NOT ask for – nor did she receive – my e˗mail address, my account number, or any bank or credit card or debit card details. Furthermore, she did not ask for immediate payment. Have nothing to do with this number.

Rude insistent person wanting me to answer questions. Todays living or something they said they were. I ended up hanging up.

This number belongs to a scam roofing company that will stretch a job, damage your property and carry out bad installations. Do not engage with them!

Said she was calling from BT open reach about my internet being hacked. Said she would not ask for any personal or bank details. Asked if I had given my internet password to anyone outside my house. I kept asking her for her details but she then asked me if I had a mobile phone. I knew she was scamming and asked her to shut up for one moment and she then said and you shut up two and then she hung up. This would have been dangerous if I had let her download any app or software to my phone

Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). She claimed that there has been suspicious activity from unknown IP addresses using my account and that it was being used for criminal activity and that she needed to help me protect my firewalls etc. I immediately became suspicious as I'd heard of such calls being made and told her that I'd call Virgin directly to resolve any issues. SCAM: received a text message, allegedly from my daughter, at 00.54 in the morning which was 'hello mum, this is my new number. My old phone no longer works. Can you send this number a message on Whatsapp? 07706376356.' So I did. I then checked with my daughter, who confirmed that she has not changed her phone number. I have phoned the number twice since; does not pick up but does go through to an anonymous voicemail.

Scam call from call centre, pretending to be BT Openreach.

This number is linked to fraud. I suggest blocking this number.

I was rang, and the caller was ringing about diesel claims. When I told him I wasn't interested and to remove me from the database, he shouted me down and asked me why I was interested. He continued to talk over me, saying he was working alongside the Dept of Transport and I should listen to him. NUMBER BLOCKED!
