Apparently calls from this number hang up before you can even answer the phone. No voice message left. Those who ring back that number to see who it was will find they are ringing a number charging very high rates and is nothing but a scam.

I thought it might be a US colleague as it came up US call so called back and it goes straight to redial so something dogey I suspect. They then called back and I answered and its a voicemail saying "you were recently in an automobile accident and yet to claim"

Asian-sounding man, claiming he was from TalkTalk, queried our Internet connection. As we're not with TalkTalk, simply put the phone down, and barred the number.

the caller said she is from 1 & 1. But I told her, we have no issue with our account. I said email me whatever she wanted to say. She said she had no email address. Do not give any info. I m with 1&1 for many years and they always email me regarding my account.

An automated voice informed me that HMRC are filing a lawsuit against me. Press one to talk to your case officer. Obviously a scam but it will scare the pants off some people. You may rightly assume I m thinking stronger words than I can write here.
