I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. Six calls in last 24 hours. They persist even though I have blocked the number so it doesn teven ring and they can t leave a message. Number shows on my caller display.

Number unknown, which I usually ignore but as I m waiting for an overnight package I wondered if it was them calling re delivery, so I answered. It was a female caller with (what sounded like) a Chinese accent. She said she was calling on behalf of Telephone Preference Service. I didn t believe it and hung up - but they have rung another twice since then (4 hours ago.)

Got called in Ireland from this number. Cancelled my Sky TV subscription because of the sheer amount of crap on it, repeats of stuff that has been repeatedly repeated on a repeating basis. Usual shite that I saw years ago is still being repeated and programmes from last week repeated again the following week or even the next night. Rubbish.
