I received a call from them which involved a woman shouting with the sound or children in the background. They hung up when I said "Hello". I have blocked them. Very unprofessional, even for scammers.

Automated/Silent call. One of a series of calls from mobile numbers starting 077 in the space of a few days. Answered first call, where automated voice said "Your Amazon Prime membership has just been renewed at a cost of £79.99. If you want to cancel this payment, press 1". Attempted “Amazon Account” fraud. Called saying a problem with my Amazon account and need bank details to keep the account active.
Indian guy called Frank (NOT!) called to get details from me. He had my name and address (which I didn t confirm) but was evasive when I asked what the company is so I hung up. Certain this isn t bona fide.

You possibly know the right words, they may also not be of Uk Ethnic origin, so tell them what they are. Remember they cannot report you!
