This number texted me pretending to be Halifax, saying that a device had been paired with mine and to click a link if this wasn't the case. I called Halifax and they confirmed it was a scam. Do not click the link!

SCAM Recorded message saying suspicious activity on bank account, press 1 or 2. Pressing 2 is answered by a person who ask for your bank account details. when confronted they hang up.
SCAM / SPAM Number called at 2pm saying it was the income tax department and I've been caught doing tax fraud and I should press 1 to speak to the agent dealing with my case. If I don't press 1 I will be arrested soon. Hung up and searched but can't find a record of the number. I've committed no fraud so not worried but people shouldn't receive these calls.
