SCAM They called me claiming to be BT Open Reach phoning about issues with my router. They did not know anything about my router as they asked irrelevant questions which do not apply to my Virgin router. very suspicious. I hung up on them before it went too far.

I had a call from this number asking "can you hear me " I also heard about a scam that uses this phrase to get the response of yes from you then uses your voice some...
this was a robotic voice, claiming they are from the HMRC and i had to call them back or legal proceedings will start and i will be called to Manchester Crown Court.

Call came approx. 3 hours after one from 01247 896583 which research suggested SCAM was from people purporting to be from BT.01495 No was a pattern so I picked up and blew my trusted whistle down the phone. Magic! They won t ring again.

A spammer is using this phone number to try to catfish American women into sending money.
Couldn’t understand what she was saying, said if she was selling anything we weren’t interested and put the phone down.
A call to a number not actually used by me (I have three landline numbers - A private, one business and one that I never use and no one is likely to be known) and it was immediately hung up. A recall was not possible.
