Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 6066048xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with telemarketing call centre - ppi claims, RTA. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Said she was from BT and we had hacking activity on our line. Wanted me to turn on my computer. Her English was so poor that when I asked her to hold on while the police came to speak to her she did, for over 10 minutes! Scum, but stupid.

Caller with Indian accent said she was calling from "Global Support" because they had identified that my computer was running slowly and they would fix this. She asked me to go to a website www.teamviewer.com. I said I didn t know her so would google this first, before going onto an unknown site. She hung up.
