Fraud Call - I got a called from this number saying they were from O2 and offering me a 40% discount on my bill. They said I would receive a code from them and to read it out to them. I got 2 messages from O2 saying I had requested a security code and not to give the code to anyone and if I suspected fraud to call 202. The lady got really aggressive when I said I wouldn't give her the code as O2 shouldn't need the code. When I said I would check if this was ok she gave me another number to call to verify -

I ve received a call on my mobile phone today from 0161 939 0236 telling me that I ve had a loan and I m entitled to a refund plus interest because I was mis sold the loan. In the first place neither my husband or myself have had a loan from our bank or on any credit card. The caller went on to name all the credit cards that I could own and from any bank (naming banks) that I may have had a card or loan from. stupid company constantly phoning about an accident I had ages ago. they re trying to tell me I was injured... I wasn t even in the car at the time, someone just scratched my door in a multi-storey!
Just had a call from this number, saying they were from the Debt Support Group and that I was due to reduce my outstanding payments on my debt!! When I told them that they were incorrect as I had no debt and I asked where they got my details from, they put the phone down. It really annoys me that these people have not got the decency to tell you where they received the information and give you the chance to ask them to remove your details from their database. Grrrrr!!!!
