Female caller with an Asian accent rang from this number twice today. Said she was from Benefits UK. I asked who Benefits UK is, and she replied "A company", and wanted to ask me some questions, which would only take a couple of minutes. I replied that I do not answer questions over the phone, and she hung up. A couple of hours later, the number rang again, and my daughter answered. She told the caller that our number is ex directory and that we are TPS registered. Again, the caller hung up.

I have had repeated call about 10 per day from the same number, 2 types of calls 1. as per above , that i owe money on credit cards 2. that the government has set up an scheme where they are freezing monthly interest payments on CC or store cards and if you have these cards you can just make a monthly payment to them instead . as i am a financial advisor i keep them talking for ages (appearing to be a bit non financial) after all it runs up their phone bill, then i wrap them in knots using my knowledge,

Received a text number with a link from this number stating Royal Mail has a package for me and that I need to pay £2.99. It’s the 1st day of the year 2022. I guess criminals don’t take a day off

I get calls like this all the time from people claiming to help write off debts. I don t even have any but apparently it pops up that I do.

As in the other comment I was told to ring 01642850850 - this is useless. It asks you to give the name of the person and offers no other option. Since I don t know who called I was at a dead end

Called me twice today. Both times they hung-up a few seconds after I answered, without saying a word.

I can only presume it was a prank call as that's twice I've had a call from this number and they've hung up as soon as I've answered on both occasions

This company has called me several times over a period of months. After the first 3 calls I told them in no uncertain manner that I was fed up with their calls and not to call again. However the same number calls me regularly, despite the fact that I never answer now. Surely this is harassment?

Compare the market obviously provide these companies with your number. Asked for a quote online then was bombarded with endless calls from insurance companies. Will not be using compare the market again

National Hearing Centre is a cold calling telephone operation with numerous complaints listed against this operation see for example 01274 965666. not bothered that my number is registered with the TPS. failed to disclose the nature of their organisation namely a claims company in the end I simply hung up.
