Claimed to be from reputable finance institution with loud dance music playing in the background, wanted to make sure I got back money I had invested, some nonsense about block-chain, called him out as a fraud and he said the music was because it was Friday afternoon! Utter BS! He started talking nonsense and generally being cheeky so I asked him to remove my number from his database, advised he would, asked if the music was loud enough for me etc, told him call wasn't costing me anything, he hung up, CLOWN

Receiving 4-5 calls from this number every day, automated, regarding energy efficient gas boiler. It says press 2 to book appointment or 9 to stop receiving these calls. I have pressed 9 several times, makes no difference and have pressed 2 twice and tried to explain I have a new boiler only for them to put the phone down!!!! Sick to the back teeth of them.

I had a missed call from this number and having read here that it was a debt collection company I panicked that I had forgotten to pay something! SCAM Had a number of calls recently offering a new iPhone. I don't use or like Apple products so they are wasting their time. 2 calls yesterday from 01208 247201 - missed the 1st, but they rang again withing seconds. As suspected, another iPhone scam call. That block of numbers is owned by Franzcom Telecoms in Bodmin, Cornwall. Something needs to be done to prevent these foreign scammers spoofing UK telephone numbers.

Fraud, It is a computer message saying you are being investigated for tax fraud and a warrant issued. Press _ etc. Do not respond to the fraudster. Warrants are not issued over the phone and HMRC will write you if they have any queries.
