Thought this was a reputable insurance company but will never use them again

All relevant info in previous comments except to say we did not purchase anything from Amazon.

Woman called and said she had been informed that I had had a car accident that was not my fault. I have not. When I suggested to her that she had no such information and that her call was at random she put the phone down. Infuriating to receive these calls. Seems to happen quite often.

extremely aggressive and abusive on the phone.was not even my name on debt but still they told me all the information about the debtor insisting I was them.this company won t last long revealing private info and using bully tactics lol

Reports on other sites suggest it s a debt collection company called Capital Resolve, who claim to work on behalf of British Gas, Vodafone etc.

Called but left no message in response to my "this number blocks withheld and unrecognised numbers" message, but it is clear from the numerous other reports that it is a standard Indian "Your commputer is infected" criminal fraudster. What surprises me is that many people do not seem to realise that the number displayed is spoofed and that the call actually comes from an Indian criminals call centre. Apparently we ve had an accident and he wants to help us! The mobile number hasn t been given out as it s new so definitely a scam. Now blocked.

NEVER give ANY information to a caller, no matter how convincing they sound. Tell 'em to **** OFF! They'll get the idea . . .

Another scamy company from manchester. Usually calls asking for Emily or Emily smith (had other calls from other northern based numbers asking for the same person . They are all phising for info via PPI, survey, selling newspaper subscriptions, new fuel contracts or telephone contracts. All scams!

This company phoned after my accident with all my details claiming to be an assessor. They didn't answer inbound calls!!!!
