This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 2036345xxx reported here already, so far as I can see on internet with nuisance calls, sometimes just robocalls, with PPI - insurance marketing, accident chasers. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with something new, new scope?

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. SCAM Indian woman pretending to be BT saying that there were multiple unknown IP addresses connected to our internet. Tried to get me to go into the terminal of my computer and started inserting ridiculous stuff. As soon as I asked BT to email me officially and we take it from there, she went silent and hung up.

This was a genuine call and text (very badly written, and call included a poorly recorded computerised message, so I am not surprised people are suspicious!) I double checked it was genuine by calling through HSBC Premier to be transferred. The fraud detection system had flagged a transaction I had tried to make online as suspicious. It was in fact genuine and they have reset the card accordingly. Glad they are on the ball, but the messages could be much better written/recorded.

I doubt this gentleman was even anywhere remotely near the 01621 area in terms of geographical proximity. As soon as I indicated that I had not had an accident that he was claiming I hadn't put in a claim for he was swift to hang up. It is so annoying that these companies are now able to freely and easily pick up local VOIP numbers to pretend that they are calling from the locality of the person they are ringing.
