These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. Just block the number if you have the facility. TPS is useless against these calls.
This telephone number keeps ringing and either hangs up straightaway or will ask for me by name then you hear others in the background making comments. Then the person hangs up. You are unable to return their call to speak to them

Received a call off a man claiming to be from a Sapphire in Cardiff, he told me I filled out a survey (which I have been doing recently) n because of this I m now lucky enough to win a free £20 voucher for fuel, he then went on to say that I only need to pay £1 for postage, he already had my name n address. Asian sounding chap trying to gain access to my computer saying it was slow. Kept him talking for a few minutes to cost him the phone call. After a while he got very abusive calling me all sorts of names then hung up. Keep people like this talking so they don t have time to annoy anyone else.

This company keep phoning me asking for a Duncan Cruickshanks who I believe used to own my telephone number. Tonight they tried ending the call with silence but usually they are abusive, or just ask for the person who pays the household bills. My number is ex-directory & registered with TPS, makes no difference to these people though.

Scatter-gun accident not your fault type thing. Robo dialer seems to have been improved from the usual one that calls me. I usually let the computer pass me to an operator and waste some of their time before hanging up.
