Been calling me every day for 2 weeks. Tried calling the number from work and constantly engaged.
Fraud. Calling from abroad saying they are Citizens Advice Bureau. When I asked why they were calling on a mobile number they said they weren’t so I read the number back to them and they said that they have been passed information by the FCA that I have debts to repay. When I pointed out that this was false and they are clearly a scam they hung up. Called them back and got voicemail which is apparently full.

Said he wanted to check that an online payment of £2500ish this morning was really made by me. Of course it wasn’t. Second call received from John at computer maintenance. First time when I told him that there wasn t a computer at this number he hung up, hoped this would deter further calls. But following day different time he phoned again told him that still didn t have computer and wanted to be taken off their database at which point he hung up. Waiting to see if they ring again.

This number called our office several times today 9th Sept 2015 wouldn t say who they were or give a reason for calling. SCAM CALLER FROM BANGOR IN WALES. Had traced this to a company asking personal questions (survey) should be fines for COLD CALLING UNDER NEW RULES FOR NUISANCE CALLING.
