Just been called by this number to inform me my emails are being used by someone in the usa and if I follow his instructions through my computer we can solve this together. Bloody nice chap! However I do know that once connected to your computer they can lock you out unless you make payments to them. SCAM me thinks. Has been harassing me for a week. Calls (which I ve locked but still can see received call history), text and voice message. I contacted them that I have dealt with PayPal directly as they are not trustworthy and it is not my problem if PayPal did not inform them. Today they left me a voice message calling me a b * t c h. Seriously? These monkeys didn t even get my name right.

I see people are saying its for reducing debt. May be legit because I rang another company earlier in the week about reducing debt and now getting calls from this.number. still not answering though

3 phone calls in 3 days from this no. Having searched this site and others to read reports of Windows scams etc. I decided to answer this one. An Asian man asked if I was Miss Christine. I said "Who? Who s calling?" He hung up, I didn t for another 3 minutes, so presumably prevented him from bothering someone else. Reporting to ICO.

Said he was from National Accident UK about an accident I d allegedly had last September. This is the second call I ve had. When I asked him for the registered address he ignored me. When I asked again he hung up.

Kept on getting calls to my landline from this number. The caller keeps on asking for a Mr Clark. I have informed them many times that this person does not live at this address and to stop calling me. It is very frustrating when you keep on receiving these nuisance calls, especially when my number is ex-directory and I have registered it with TPS.

It was an automated call and they claimed to be calling me about a car crash I was supposedly involved in. Needless to say, I have not been involved in an accident. Typical scum cold callers.

I was called by this number and the very rude guy tells me he s from EMCAS. I immediately tell him that I m not interested, where says he is not interested either, and hangs up. Every day since then we have received silent nuisance phone calls. I m preparing to make a statement to the police and trading standards.

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

Had 2 or 3 calls now and they just hang up when I answer

2 weeks ago I answered and a lady with very little knowledge in englsih talked to me. She could not say the company name or anything. I told her to delete my cell phone number completely and said I wasn t interested at all in anything she could say. Despite this that number has called me in average 2-3 times a day... for 2 weeks.. As there is no company name to be told - I suspect they re nothing but hackers.. But can t say for sure.
