Waffled on about global pandemic and making small. I had to ask him twice who he was and what he wanted. Eventually, he said he wanted me to participate in an economic survey. My husband passed the call to me as it related to my washing machine insurance renewal so I did not hear any name or how the call started. He did rather a hard (and fast) sell with a reduced annual figure but taking 3 years immediately. He seemed to have details of my current annual figure. I checked with D&G who deal with the insurance and they did not recognise the phone number as belonging to anyone working for them.
