I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. this number called me and then left me a 2 minute blank voice mail, no background noise or anything, have not called back, area code says the call was from Scotland

Unallocated number so definitely a scammer. These calls use spoofed numbers but originate outside the UK. The scammers can spoof any number they want. They ransom dial number...

I rang this number back its 1st call group. Did google search, it's a PPI selling group. Looks dodgy. The times they call are not normal business hours.

An Ideal World connection buy from them and you get pestered to death by this number ringing, used to it so just ignore it but they keep trying.
