SCAM FRAUD. I got a call from a 07 mobile number prior to this call. Both of them is an automated message saying a letter from HRM Revenue was sent to you but was returned. Legal action will be taken against you, press 1 to bla bla bla. I didn’t even bother to listen to the rest because there is no reason for HRM Revenue to contact me. Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. Reported to the ICO

FRAUD SCAM!! This was an automated message initially asking if I'd authorised a payment for £600 to overseas. Transferred to a human who said the payment on your visa debit card, I asked which card, she replied your visa debit. I asked again which card, was told from your bank. Which bank? The bank you authorised the payment from. I said I have several banks so which one. She replied Halifax bank, when I said I don't bank with Halifax she hung up on me. Be careful folks!

SCAM: Caller with foriegn accent tried to get me to renew appliance insurance that I didn't have for £500.

Fraud They said I had £87K in a cryptocurrency account with them ('Blockchain Support') I've never invested in crypto, so it must be some sort of phishing scam. I think they got my name and number via the June 2023 data breech at BBC etc.

SCAM PayPal request for £799.77 stating the money had been sent and to call this number - the email may be from PayPal but the notes on the request certainly aren’t.

There was an automated voice which told me there had been an attempt to use a card ( which I do not use). I have not been able to re-call or trace.

Scam call from India. Automated message with American accent saying they are from HMRC and they legal action is filed against you blablabla. When you hold the line you speak to some Indian in an Indian call center. Cheap scam, wonder who would still falls for bullshit like this.

Fraud This number has been checked several times in the last day. A call from this number (unaswered) was received late at night by a phone that has been hacked two weeks ago and the service provider seems not to have been able to put the account out of reach of the criminal, despite a great deal of correspondence with them. This number called me this morning 10.02 am. What appeared to be recorded message told me that they were speaking from Visa and my card had been used to place an £800 bet in the USA, if this wasn't me press a button on the phone. I hung-up without responding and have confirmed this was not true, another scam.
