Apparently, according to recorded voice, the National Crime Agency are going to suspend my National Insurance number and arrest me. This is unlikely. This is the only one of 4 unknown calls from Vodafone numbers I have answered in the last couple of days but suspect all of the same ilk.

Getting a lot of calls from this number and numbers very similar, called approximately 20 times in the past 2 days. Loft insulation scam.
Scam from asian sounding male suposedly working for Virgin Media and claiming that my router was faulty. After getting me to jump through some hoops, told me that I would be getting a new router and £204.56 in compensation. Phoned several times, rings twice and puts phone down
Prerecorded message alleging to be from a bank - 2 transactions were highlighted as 1. a payment of £300 to Amazon and 2. a payment exceeding £1000 to an overseas destination. Options were offered which were ignored and the call was terminated by the recipient. An effort was made to call the number from both landline and mobile where an answer was given “it has not been possible to connect your call” and “the number you have dialled is incorrect”, respectively. These people should be sent to Siberia.

Human voice saying pre-recorded statements about having got my number from the RTA department and was I in an accident recently. Asked her to clarify recently and it was 2-3 years which gave the game away. I m usually really careful with my number so I think it s an auto-dialer.
