Very similar to everyone else. Had a phone call saying that I was wanted for Tax avoidance and that they were issuing a warrant out for my arrest if I didn?t pay. Seeing as my tax is paid through PAYE I know there?s no issue with my tax. However the tone in which the call is made is quite aggressive if someone is not used to this kind of con. Promptly put phone down.

Loan company but would not let me opt out

I was called by someone calling himself "Yogi" allegedly from Carphone Warehouse and I renewed my contract through him with Vodafone. The incentive being a substantial cash back deal. The cheques never appeared and Vodafone do not know anything about the deal (so they say). Vodafone are refusing to honour the deal and I have reported them to trading standards and the communications commission as they are saying they cannot see on their system who renewed the contract. Tried to bait me to give her lawyer my account information to give him a whopping 6000$ to set up contract with her to run her "business". She called me once from a number that contained the Nigerian country code 234. SCAM!!! She has Facebook texted (then closed Facebook account), then emailed me, then called me after I requested so. Most calls from her came from VOIP
