iv had txts n calls from this number claiming to be B&Q, dont know where they got my number from, i never answer the phone to these scams!!

3 phone calls in 3 days from this no. Having searched this site and others to read reports of Windows scams etc. I decided to answer this one. An Asian man asked if I was Miss Christine. I said "Who? Who s calling?" He hung up, I didn t for another 3 minutes, so presumably prevented him from bothering someone else. Reporting to ICO.

Never call unknown numbers back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number masked by a spoofed UK number which could be a very expensive call.

This phone number called my landline at 6:15am on a week day morning. Upon phoning it back it was constantly engaged even though I tried it off and on all day and even before I went to bed it was still engaged.

I went on line to find landlord ins and said no to be contacted by anyone but within a few minutes they started calling and haven t stopped - very agressive - I have blocked them from my mobile now.

Sent me a text message a few days ago asking Miss XYZ to forward her documentation! I texted back to say they d got a wrong number but apparently their number doesn t recieve text messages, although it does seem to be able to send them! Had a call from 07894865338 from someone asking for me by name and claiming to be from the Citizens Advice. I thought he was saying he had been contacted because I had reported a dead person, I asked him to repeat it, which he did. His accent was very thick and from seeing this site I think he was trying to say I had reported a debt problem !!! He hung anyway...

Sounded like a call centre. Name of Kayley with a London accent. About extending warranty on my washing machine. My correct name and address was quoted but no specifics regarding make or when washing machine was bought. She didn't identify which agency she represented.

On second reading - definitely - it is one digit short to be a genuine UK number.
