I asked him what network was he from he hung up so clearly a scammer so ive reported his scam attempt to o2 and blicked him from ringing me ever again!

Called my 86 yo mum claiming to be "the company that services your domestic appliances and boiler", I interrupted the call, asked if they were British Gas, on being told no the caller was invited to go forth and multiply.

Scam saying I owe tax money

Its a scam I receive a dubious voicemail from this number "report these transactions" then a few seconds silence then "Thank you for calling" I rang the number to see if they were pretending to be my bank but I got put through to a locksmith based in Bournemouth to which I explained my reason for calling and they replied that it was probably a scam and if they call me again to ignore it. I don't have this no in my contact. I have received 4 insistant calls from the same area code withi 10 mins. Seems very suspect.. plz follow up & advise if u have investigated.

I think this was a scam call, recorded message saying This is a call from fraud an amount of £800 used for an American online gambling please press 1 to speak to an agent. Which I did and the message repeated

Scam Indian call centre, says internet is broken and tries to get you to download a remote access computer program so they can take over your computer and then claim a ransom from you. Suggest you keep them hanging on the line as long as possible but don't download anything or give them your details. Just string them along and frustrate them. Then give them a mouthful of verbal abuse when you are ready to hang up. Number was +44 (0) 7444496409.

Telephone number 07451216084 rang. Automated call advising of high payments to Visa account and wanting me to press a number on my phone to check account. Total scam so terminated call! Do not engage with these types of unsolicited calls!

Scam. Female voice robotic recording threatening jail for customs & tax avoidance. Press 1 or press 2. Hung up. An hour later received same recording from number with similar digit pattern (07166 instead of 0766). Hung up and blocked both.

Thi is the second Glasgow number to phone me today about alleged charges on a visa card to Amazon and an international agency. On phoning back, the number is unobtainable, and I assume a banking scam.
